Run by TablesReady, which is listed here. How this site makes money

About WaitlistSoftware.com

WaitlistSoftware.com is a catalog of 67 waitlist and queue products in seven categories. It is run by TablesReady, the company that makes the TablesReady waitlist app. Each listing records price, free plan, features and update activity, with a source for each fact.

Who runs the site

TablesReady operates this site. TablesReady sells a waitlist and reservation app that texts guests when their table is ready, used by restaurants and other businesses. That app is listed here next to the products it competes with.

The ownership is stated at the top and in the footer of every page. TablesReady’s own listing carries a note saying so, and every TablesReady promotion on the site is labeled “Ad · Site owner’s product”. Readers comparing TablesReady with other products should keep the ownership in mind and use the source links on each listing to check the facts that matter to them.

Why it exists

There are two reasons, and both are stated here.

The first is to put the facts a buyer compares in one place: starting price, free plan, free trial, confirmed features, update activity and market presence, each with a link to where it came from. Pricing for waitlist software is spread across dozens of vendor pages, and 19 of the 67 products publish no prices at all.

The second is to reach people who are researching waitlist software. That is why ads for TablesReady appear on the home page, on four of the seven category pages, on alternatives pages and beside some listings, each one labeled as an ad. Healthcare pages carry none, because TablesReady does not sign HIPAA business associate agreements.

How listings are chosen

Candidates came from the waitlist and queue categories of software directories such as Capterra, GetApp and G2, from search results for common waitlist and queue searches, and from products TablesReady already tracked as competitors.

A candidate becomes a listing when:

  • it sells software with a waitlist, queue or enrollment-waitlist feature to businesses or organizations, and that feature is a real part of the product rather than one line in a different kind of platform;
  • its own website describes the product, so features can be sourced from vendor pages;
  • its pricing, or the lack of published prices, has been read from the vendor’s site and confirmed by the second pricing check described in the Methodology.

A product whose pricing page cannot be read, for example because the page blocks automated access, is held back until it can be checked. Products are sorted into seven categories, and one product can sit in several. Apart from TablesReady’s own entry, shown first as an ad, lists are alphabetical, and no vendor pays to be included.

Corrections and new products

Corrections and suggestions go to listings@waitlistsoftware.com. Send the product name, its website, its pricing page URL and a source for each correction. Each request is checked against its source before anything changes, and price changes need the vendor’s own pricing page. The submit page lists what to include.

Frequently asked questions

Is TablesReady's own listing handled differently?

Its listing uses the same data rules, label thresholds and second pricing check as every other listing, and it carries a note that TablesReady operates the site. The difference is promotion: TablesReady also appears in placements labeled as ads for the site owner's product, which no other vendor has.

Do vendors pay to be listed?

No. No vendor pays for a listing, a position or a placement. The only promotional placements on the site are TablesReady's own, and each one is labeled as an ad.

How can a vendor get a listing corrected?

Email listings@waitlistsoftware.com with the product name, its website, its pricing page URL and a source link for each correction. Changes to prices, free plans and trials need the vendor's own pricing page as the source.
